CRA Direct Deposit Enrolment

SCU has partnered with the Government of Canada to offer Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) direct deposit enrolment through online banking. Setting up direct deposit with CRA allows you to access your money faster. Receive your Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB), income tax refunds, benefits and credits, such as the Canada Child Benefit, the GST/HST credit, Canada Workers Benefit, and provincial and territorial payments such as the Ontario Trillium Benefit. 

Once you provide consent through online banking for your banking information to be shared with the CRA, your direct deposit information will be updated the following day.

Please note that this service is only available through online banking, not the mobile app. To enroll, sign into online banking then select Setup CRA Direct Deposit under Account Services. Visit Tools & Support for more information.

 
e-Statement Icon

e-Statements

E-statements are available to members who have online banking, and they’re free. Each monthly statement can be downloaded from online banking once it’s ready. You can even choose to receive an email notification each month letting you know when your e-statement is available. Switching to e-statements is simple and comes with added benefits:

  • View Anytime: access your statements whenever you like, from wherever you are.
  • Available Sooner: receive your e-statement much sooner that you normally receive your mailed paper statement.
  • Seven Years of Statements: view statements dating back seven years, all in one spot.
  • Cheque Images: e-statements still include images of all cheques written each month.
  • Environmentally Friendly: switching to e-statements helps us reduce the amount of paper we use.
  • Save on Fees: e-statements are available for free. Paper statements have a $2 fee per statement, per account.
  • No Storage Required: eliminate the need to file and securely store paper statements at home. Your statements are always available in online banking.

Safety Deposit Box

Each branch offers safety deposit boxes as an option to store your valuables and important documents. Choose from a small or large size box based on your needs. Annual rental fees apply. Please contact a branch for current rental fees and availability.

Please note that the contents of a safe deposit box are not insured by the Credit Union. Should the contents be of value, it is advised to have private insurance in place for the contents of the box.
