Stay protected 24/7 with Direct Banking Alerts! Direct Alerts allow you to receive notifications about security events that have occurred in online banking via text message or email. These alerts add additional protection to allow you to identify and report potential fraudulent activity as soon as it happens.

The 5 alerts available are:

  1. New bill payment vendor added via online banking.

  2. Online Banking password change.

  3. Security question answered incorrectly a maximum of 3 times.

  4. Online account login.

  5. Interac® E-Transfer recipient added.

How to Set Up Direct Alerts From Your Desktop

  • Login to online banking.
  • Select 'Messages and Alerts' from the menu on the left.
  • Select 'Get Started Today' under 'Alerts'.
  • Turn on the notifications you would like to receive.
  • Follow the steps to receive alerts by email or text.

  • Login to your mobile banking app.
  • Swipe left to access the second menu screen.
  • Select 'Alerts'.
  • Select 'Manage Alerts'.
