Receiving an INTERAC® e-Transfer

Any Sudbury Credit Union member can receive an Interac® e-Transfer. The funds will be directly deposited into which ever account you choose.

How do I receive my e-Transfer?

When someone sends you an e-Transfer from their financial institution you will receive an email or text message notifying you about an incoming Interac® e-Transfer.

1. Click on the link in the email or text. If your phone does not have Internet capability then type the web link into Internet Explorer® or Firefox®.

2. You will be directed to Interac’s® special website for e-transfers.

3. Select Credit Unions by Province and Name (EX: Ontario > Sudbury Credit Union) and click Confirm.

4. Enter your login ID and Personal Access Code for online banking.

5. Answer the security question.

6. Choose the account into which you wish to deposit the funds Your money is now in your account.

Important information about receiving e-Transfers

• There is no fee to receive an Interac® e-Transfer.

• If you do not wish to accept the funds, you may decline the transfer and send the Sender a message explaining why.
