As we all do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19, we are reminding members that our staff are available to assist you with your banking needs by phone. Day to day banking services can be completed over the phone by speaking to a staff member. Please call before visiting a branch.

You may also use online banking, our mobile app, or telephone banking. If you require assistance with one of these methods of banking, please give us a call.

Call Before You Visit

Our in-branch service has temporarily changed, so we’re asking members to please call us before visiting a branch . Our staff are available by phone and will determine how best to help you with your banking needs, without you having to come into a branch.

Ways to Bank Remotely

There are many ways that you can access your account remotely. ATMs, Online or Mobile banking, Telephone banking or even over the phone with one of our staff are all options available to you. If you are not yet setup for one of these options, or if you require some assistance, just give us a call.

Over the Phone Expand/Collapse

Call your branch to speak with a Member Service Representative. They can complete your day-to-day banking transactions over the phone.  Speak to a Financial Advisor for your investment, mortgage or loan needs.

ATMs Expand/Collapse

The ATMs at all of our branches are available for your use. As an SCU member, you also have access to thousands of surcharge-free ATMs across Canada through The Exchange Network. Click here to find an ATM near you.

Online Banking or Mobile App Banking Expand/Collapse

Online banking is a secure way to complete your day-to-day banking. To login you’ll require your MemberCard number and a Personal Access Code, issued by our branch staff. Our Mobile Banking app is available though the app store on your mobile device. Not sure how to use either? Give us a call; we can help.

Telephone Banking Expand/Collapse

Telephone banking is a convenient alternative to Online or Mobile banking. It is accessed by calling 1-855-869-2196. You’ll require a MemberCard number and a Personal Access Code, issued by our branch staff.

Keeping our Staff and Members Safe and Healthy Expand/Collapse

The health of our staff and members is of our utmost concern. We ask that you follow the recommendations being set by our Public Health agencies.

Face coverings: The use of a face covering is mandatory when entering our branches.

Social distancing:
We ask everyone who enters our branches to maintain a distance of at least two metres from each other.

Staff and Members are not to enter our branches if:
  • you have a fever, chills, cough, sore throat, trouble swallowing, decrease or loss of smell or taste, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, extreme fatigue, sore muscles or breathing difficulties.
  • you have been outside of Canada in the last 14 days.
  • if you have been in close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19.

Financial Assistance for Members Expand/Collapse

If you are facing a loss or disruption of income due to illness, loss or reduction of employment, loss of business income, or childcare disruption during school or daycare closures due to the current pandemic situation, we will work with you, one-on-one, to provide flexible solutions to help you manage your finances.

Support in the form of up to six-month payment deferral for mortgages and the opportunity for relief from payments on other credit products is available. Please call your Financial Advisor to further discuss your specific situation.

Support for Business Members Expand/Collapse

Sudbury Credit Union is committed to supporting our business members through this difficult time as we all strive to deal with unforeseen circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

We are now processing applications for the Federal Government’s Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA).

CEBA is a government-guaranteed loan of up to $60,000, interest-free until December 31, 2022, for qualifying businesses and non-profits that have been affected by COVID-19 to help them cover non-deferrable operating costs. Learn more about the program and apply now.
